I know that Tom is going to be really angry at Marco in the next episode but I hope that we can get scene of Tom calmly explaining to him a bit of lore on the blood moon ball. Unless Star told him about the soul binding afterward, Marco shouldn't actually know anything at all. It should be interesting to see how Marco reacts to his soul-bound fate with Star while she's dealing her own future.
Did anyone else think of the "Dig a Little Deeper" song from Princess and the Frog when Star was digging down? Both Glossaryck and Odie were telling the main character to dig deeper but they misunderstand that love is the key to power. If starco happens, I think it will happen later with this season seeming to focus on characters digging into their complex emotions first. Most romance in media tend to skip this stage but if my guess is right that this is the intention I love this show even more.

I wonder if will get to see Toffee speaking with Marco one on one in the finale. I'm guessing Marco will be inevitably freed but Toffee is a master manipulator who observed him and could give him doubts about Star or speak about his insecurities. Also if he knows more about the "prophecy room" in St. Olga's and if Marco is involved, it would be interesting to see him foreshadow it to him. Whether or not Toffee is coming back after the finale, his influence will probably last in the next season.
I really hope they’re not going to play everything in a silly way (the promo was really lame).
So who else out there wants a Gravity Falls and Star vsThe Forces of Evil crossover episode or short? I can imagine Ford having found dimensional scissors on his travels and then Dipper and Mabel using them for crazy antics. I'm guessing they wouldn't cross dimensions to meet Star and Marco since they're all probably in the Earth dimension though. Or maybe they could be in different universes? I don't know, I think it would be hilarious when the kids meet regardless

I'm thinking that Toffee will be observing "Marco Grows a Beard" than be involved in it. Maybe at the end he'll realize how important Marco is to Star and how useful he is for his plan in the finale. Another possibility could be that something happens between Marco and Star and he sees the perfect time to take away Marco. I assume the latter since Toffee has been observing the two for awhile and could quickly guess that Star is close to Marco. Either way he's probably there for foreshadowing.
