Grand Line High AU: The Tea Shop

It was the weekend and the girls agreed to meet at their favorite tea spot in town. Winter was approaching each of them. The brisk wind makes the girls make sure to bundle up before heading out of their homes. Agreeing to meet up in the front of the school. Michelle being the first to arrive. She looked at her phone knowing each of the girls were on their way.
“Phew i'm not the last one this time!” Savannah smiled as she wore her signature pink scarf and her cute little pink sweater to match it.
Michelle smiled softly at Savannah “hehe Lari and Val should be here soon They both come the same direction they may have ran into each other.”
Speaking of the two devils, “We arrived!” Lari called out with a great big smile waving.
“It's colder than a witches tit out here.” Valerie said. This causes the girls to laugh.
“A witches tit…. Okay no more tik tok for you Val.” Michelle laughed.
“ I thought it was funny.” Valerie giggled.
“Okay we should all get moving to warm our bodies up a bit! Standing here we will freeze.” Savannah snuggled in her scarf more.
All the girls began to walk down the road as they talked about their mornings. Savannah was catching up on some sleep. She has been doing some crazy studying for Home Eco. She and Katakuri were given a specific place around the world and make their home dish along with a report to go along. Savannah becoming more and more comfortable around KAtakuri was a plus for her.
Lari was straightening up her room before leaving. She had a specific way of straightening up things and it had to be done to her liking. She even framed some new photos of her and Ace on her wall. Her nephew’s asking when Ace is going to come over and play with them. Both of the boys love Ace a lot knowing he wouldn’t turn them down to play with them.
Michelle was doing some painting. She has an art project that is going to be due at the end of next week. She was given a book cover of one of the known books assigned by the teacher. She had to create her own image og what the book cover would look like based on the theme of the book. The Raven she was given, she knew exactly how this was going to be covered. Telling Law the idea and he found it interesting he even gave her some input on the idea as well.
Valerie was talking with her dad catching up on life. He was out on business for a while finally being able to see his wife and daughter pleased him. He did keep track of his daughter, of course him knowing the principal at Grandline High as he and him went way back. Knowing his daughter was interested in the eldest son of the principal.
Finally arriving at the Tea Shop they sat down, the fancy little cups placed right in front of them. The server brought the different pastries along with the tea pot. They chose vanilla chai flavored tea.
“This one smells so divine.” Lari holding the teacup taking a whiff of the aroma.
“This is a nice blend.” Michelle taking a small sip of the hot beverage. “It’s perfect for this weather.
The girls were displayed right next to the window when they saw the people passing by the tea shop. “Savannah, how is the project going with Kata?” Val asked, placing her tea cup down.
“It’s going.” she nervously laughed. “I got so nervous when cooking with him that I burnt the food. So we were going to try again next week But i told him I would do the report part and he declined because he wanted both of us to work together on it.” She began to blush
“He likes you.” Michelle smiled, “This is his way of wanting to do things with you baby steps.”
“Speaking of projects, how is yours going Michelle?” Lari asked.
“Very well. Law gave me some ideas as to how I should make the raven look more realistic by adding the different colors to give the raven more depth as well.” Michelle remembered the conversation with Law a few days earlier. Before the tea arrived she got a text from Law asking if she wanted to hang out later which she gladly accepted. “We are actually going to hang out later today.”
“How cute! Are you trying to kiss this time?” Lari asked
“N..No i mean well if he goes in for it first.” she blushed slightly at Lari's question. She imagined kissing Law many times. She wanted it to be a memorable moment for the both of them. “Here is the deal: I will kiss Law if Valerie kisses Marco.” Michelle looked at Valerie whos eyes widened
“Wait what huh i mean i ummm...” stuttering mess Valerie calmed herself down. “I don't know if I will pass out. Besides, I think he is into someone else.” noticing someone was more around Marco or always interrupted him and Valerie speaking. It discouraged her a lot as she had to usually walk away.
“Marco is not into them, I can tell by the way he brushes their comments off.” Lari said. She confirmed this just weeks ago Marco was into Valerie when she was visiting Ace.
“Marco does seem to want to be around you more and I think that other people noticies so that when they want his attention.” Michelle said. “Speaking of attention, that one gir Agatha has been doing the same thing with Law.”
“Oh I saw that but I think he gets really awkward around them and cuts the convo short and leaves right away.” Lari said taking bite of the sweet pastry
“She is a bit weird too; she hangs out with them as well.” Michelle said. “I just get their vibes off.”
“Same…” Savannah sighed, taking another sip of the tea. “But hopefully they don't start anything. I just think they are a bit jelly?”
“Oh yeah, totally obvious.” Lari said. “ They don't like that Law and Marco are giving y'all attention.”
“ Agreed.” Savannah said. “You both have nothing to worry about, no competition whatsoever.”
After a few mins of talking they heard a knock on the window catching the girls attention it was Ace. “Ahhh my sweet fire cracker.” Lari chimed.
The grin on a proud boyfriend's face seeing his little firefly. Appearing just moments later Law, Marco and Katakuri who happen to see all the girls. The girl's eyes lit up seeing them on the other side of the glass.
They all waved. “My heart just stopped.” Valerie said, waving with a blush on her cheeks.
“ Well we can have marco perform cpr.” Michelle teasingly said.
“ I bet you anything right now you're making Law's heart go into Tachycardia.” Valerie chuckled softly
This sent Michelle a blush on her face Savannah seen the blush appearing on her face “ that was a good one.” Savannah giggled.
“Aww look how Kata is looking at your Savy.” Lari said they all saw the sincere smile on his face. “Thank god they can't hear us talking, it would be all bad.”
BOYS POV
“What do you think they are saying ya?” Law asked as he watched Michelle's lips move, unable to figure out what she was saying.
“I love you, Law.” Ace laughed.
“You are worse than your brother, I swear,” he sighed. He wanted to go in there but he knew this was their time to spend together knowing he was going to see her later on which he wanted it to be sooner.
“Guys wanna go in?” Ace asked.
“You just want to go in to see be nosey and ask what they are saying yoi.” Marco sighed.
“Yeah and my gf is in there too.”
“Leave them be i know Savannah needs this time with her friends she has been working pretty hard. She needs a break.” Katakuri stopped Ace from going.
“Fine.” he sighed. “Wait a minute. This will be the perfect time to confess your undying love for your sweetheart.”
“Who told you that…” Katakuri said.
“ I was kidding about the sweetheart but you do call her sweetheart???” he raised his brow as they all waved by to the window and began walking away.
“I haven’t called her that out loud…” scratching the back of his neck.
“So all of you have nicknames for them and out of us 4 only two call them by their nicknames.”
“Well technically little bird but i would enjoy calling Val my little bird instead of just little bird yoi.” Marco putting his hands in his pockets.
“Mi Xao fits Michelle.” Law is waiting for the day he can call Michelle Mi Xao he was close a few times but always didn't have the courage to say it.
“My firefly lights up my world.” Ace said “She honestly does.” he smiled to himself. “The sooner you guys tell them the better.
GIRLS POV
“Well that was a treat for us. This is a sign from the universe.” Savannah's eyes glowed brightly, clasping her hands together.
“This would have been the perfect time to have asked them to join us.” Lari said. “ I think next week should be the week you tell them all how you feel. Because you want to experience this high school romance, don't let it slip by you guys.”
The three girls looked at one another. All the times they had close calls with the guys this was their wake up call. They can’t hide these feelings any longer. Lari was right and they needed to do something about it. “She is right.” Michelle said.
The girls were all thinking of way how they can confess their love to the guys and hopefully the would accept their love in return.
