Kat had been trying to avoid Galen but it was nearly impossible. Every time she turned around in her drunken stupor he was there. Probably with another drink or something else in his hand that Kat couldn’t turn down. She found herself lost in the maze. Sitting on the ground in one of the dead ends, she heard the footsteps but they didn’t phase her. She figured it was him again. But when she looked up to the figure she saw relief. Her chest that was heaving had finally relaxed. “Tyrell.” She shook her head, wiping her face and shakily standing up, “I got lost in here. You want to help me out?”
She didn’t want to actually tell him she was trying to hide, but clearly it wasn’t a good hiding spot if someone had found her. She needed somewhere else to hide and maybe he could help her find that place. She held out her hand but with the dizziness she felt she stumbled into him and laughed, hanging her head. “It’s probably a good thing you found me.”
