Group Howl: NYE Edition
I'm hosting my usual NYE Zoom hangout this year, beginning at 8 pm Los Angeles time. If you're interested in joining me and the rest of the squad, DM me for the details. I will probably be working on bears and/or a painting while eating snacks and talking about creative stuff. You don't have to talk; you're welcome to vibe.
I run these Zooms to give people a safe place to go on a night when there's often a lot of bad shit happening. I will not be using alcohol or other recreational substances (other than caffeine) during the Zoom, so if you need a place to be sober, this can be that. I won't be kicking other people out for drinking or using, but I don't really attract a substancey crowd, so I'm pretty sure the strongest stuff you'll see is a hot cup of Earl Grey.
I WILL, however, kick out anyone who's being a jackass (racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynist, etc.--anything Fred Rogers would look askance at you for), so please come prepared to be chill.
There may also be some actual awooing, so be prepared for that too.
From past experience, these things tend to be small, quiet, and friendly, with much discussion of snack choices. If that's your vibe, shoot me a DM.

So after much deliberation and overlooking the fact that I already have a Master’s degree in Psychology, I have decided that I want to be a full time potter/ceramic artist for a living... so I am going back to school for the dreaded Art degree.
I’m going to do the very thing that gets countless creative undergrads made fun of by assholes who say they can never make a living doing what they are actually good at. I’m gonna do it friends. I’m gonna get a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Ceramics - or at least do the first two years taking nothing but the ceramics classes.
