If You Looked At Me (You Would See)
I took paint and painted a picture It wasn't very good because I'm not an artist I took a pen and wrote a letter It wasn't very long but I tried my hardest I'll smoke all my cigarettes till the day I die They say "slow down girly" But I just want to understand why
I know it's unhealthy And I know my habits But if you'd look at me you'd see...... I already have too much baggage I'm such a savage My life is lived up to be lavish No silence Tis my apparatus Fleetwood Mac and a sunny day My car can take me away I can drive until I run out of gas And stop for more and repeat the process I won't wear my seat belt, and I could possibly die They say I should be smarter But this is my vice I know it's unhealthy And I know my flaws But if you'd look at me you'd see....... I'm here for the cause I would rather touch then talk My teeth sometimes look like jaws I will throw you off Now wait for the pause I care about my family I care about my friends Nor comes first Nor comes last It's all good in the end I'd do anything to see them laugh You laugh and learn You crash and burn You grow and shrink You do and think You love and hate You sleep and wake I live for you And for you Is everything I do I am young And I can feel my body scream When you look at me I want you to know That with this needle and this thread I will try to sow the seems My mind is so widespread I'm still not there yet But I'll keep going till the end My happiness is my success
