Day 6: Childhood

KIDZ CLUB TIME

The Kidz Club is the play group comprised of Sheol's young royals. Sidonai is actually the youngest out of all his friends. He is betrothed to one of the triplet princesses (and eventually one prince) of Mezora, Kingdom of Avarice.

Him and his best friend Mihr may have beat her to it though lmao

Too bad they got split apart because of the war :D They would've been a precious couple if their parents weren't mortal enemies

Kasadya

My grandfather was a fisherman. Every night, when I couldn't sleep, I would climb onto his lap and ask for a bedtime story. Back then, he would tell me stories from his youth, some real, some made up. One time when I was fourteen (yes, I still didn't quit), he told me a story I had never heard before. About a beautiful sea creature with glowing fins. With a voice so beautiful that you could lose yourself in it. It looked half like a young black girl with no face. She had medium length, also black hair, and her bangs were tied with a blue ribbon. Almost every day, the mermaid sat on one of the coastal rocks, staring at the moon and singing. Grandpa watched her from behind the bushes, mending the nets. That voice, and the creature's strange beauty, awakened his desire. One day, unable to contain himself anymore, he jumped out to catch the mermaid and own her forever. She got scared and ran into the water, but the grandfather grabbed her by the hair. This one, however, broke free, leaving only the blue ribbon in his hand. Since then, he has never seen her again.
