Today I went to an art supply store because I had to get some things for school. Guess what I bought INSTEAD of the things I had to get? :D Two of Winsor and Newton’s amazing ProMarkers...sometimes my irresponsibility amazes me.
This is the first time I’ve ever tried any sort of marker and I really like it! I found that the markers are better for cell shading than soft shading (my preferred type of shading) but it’s always fun to try new styles :P . This is the drawing I made with them and I might add on to it if I end up buying more of these markers :3

Yyanthe adopted Nazrien and I formally as his children. I think we should have seen this coming because Yyanthe and Papa and Harij are together but I was just fine with it being informal--you know, I was their daughter even if there was no paperwork. I mean, ours is a big strange family but I guess..I don’t know, I guess, he really wanted to let us know how much he cared for us.
So...I’m a lady now? Or a Miss? (I’m sure someone will let me know soon.) Stuffie is still his heir..which is good because I don’t know how to be an heir and she’s had a lot more time to get used to the idea.
At first, I didn’t want to agree because I was worried about Harij. But Harij said that his culture and my culture were different. And then it was important for my people that things like this were legalized and documented. He insisted that he wasn’t hurt by it--that I’d always be his elf-y daughter even if I was older than he was.
So...that means I have a grandfather and a grandmother. One is a death knight and the other is a Forsaken now. It’s very strange. Lord Tebryn--Grandpapa--was very happy to have us. He thinks I’m delightful and he thinks Nazrien is wonderful. I asked him if we had to move away from our home in Stranglethorne Vale and he said no but that we were welcome to stay with him at any time. “After all, it is now your family home as well.”
I have to get used to writing my new name, now. And get used to extra lessons, a new wardrobe and being careful with my words.
