Kinda accurate but also..not? Because Kartili gave Tuya up to her clan when she was about 3 years old with the fear of not raising her properly and before that she was too broke to get anything special for her daughter.
Later she tries to get things she likes, get in touch but most of it dont make it to Tuya because Clan Kelborn - especially Kartili’s mum - do not want Kartili’s influence on the kid so they can play the, oh look your mum has abandoned you and she is a traitor, card.
