Okay, let me say this., I am a FIRM believer in separation of ART and the ARTIST.
You don't have to agree and like everything your favs do. I have PLENTRY of singers, actors, actresses, musicians that I adore but have very different beliefs/views than. Does that mean I stop indulging them? Hell nah!
That being said, I don't usually care about celebrity dating. Their life, they can do whatever, however I am curious about this KYLOTHEE situation. Yes, I follow a lot of blogs about it, because its fun. In reality I wonder if it IS in fact real.
Here is my take...
I personally do not care for the KarJenners. I've never seen their show and have only ever seen clips here and their. They seem forced, fake and very plastic. They just aren't my cup of tea. Now, I have jumped on the reality TV bandwagon at one point but just couldn't get into them.
I truly struggle to see how Kylie and Timothee have ANYTHING in common and get along. Kylie seems very superficial, passive, and highly motivated by gain. She does however seem like a good mom from the little I've seen so high props for that. She just always gave the mean girl vibe with her sights on nailing the foot ball captain while getting her picture in the yearbook. Very Kathryn(Cruel Intentions 1999) meet Regina George(Mean Girls 2004).
Timothee however always appeared very deep and artistic with a touch on sweet jock. I always felt like his actually personality wad a mix of Elio(CMBYN) and Gatsby(A Rainy Day In New York). When I watch his interviews I get the sense of a poetic, indie soul radiating off of him.
How do these two mix?!
Maybe its a situation of opposites attract. Maybe deep down he is more like Kylie that we think? It is possible her was putting on a soulful sensitive role for all of us. I mean he is an actor. He could have been selling the indie things for show. He could be superficial and shallow deep how.
The same goes for Kylie. What if her appearance on reality TV isn't really here? What if she is putting on a show, Like Paris Hilton did. Paris had everyone believing she was a ditzy blonde for over a decade, even deceiving people with her voice! All the while she was a brilliant business women, using people's assumptions and party girl expectations to rake in MILLIONS!
The point is we really don't know. We have mere glimpses of them and their lives and small hits about what's real and what isn't. If it isn't real and is all a contract, it's smart and they know what they are doing. If not, then as a Timothee fan, I just hope he is happy and deserve to do whatever he wants.
Either way...it's fun to watch, which may be the whole point.
