Just watching the program on @bbc with #karengibson of Kingdom Choir make me realise how much @pembrokehouse has been instrumental in helping #merveleemyers get back to taking part in the things I am #passionate about. Yesterday guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s royal wedding witness history and were treated to a number of amazing moments including a gospel performance of “Stand by Me” by The Kingdom Choir. The Kingdom Choir led by its founder, Karen Gibson, sang the American R&B classic from the West End of St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Back in 2015, we did a feature on the Award Winning conductor who was born in London to Guyanese Parents. Karen formed The Kingdom Choir over 20 years ago, which is made up of outstanding singers drawn from various denominations in the South East area of England and with Karen’s leadership has risen to fame in the world of gospel music.
