Introducing Search. A Entirely New Way to Experience Companies and Jobs.
The most requested feature, by far, has been the ability to search opportunities on the Discover Network. We hear you...and we've delivered. You can now search for opportunities by community or zip code and specify a category. It's simple, it's beautiful, and it's awesome.
Since we've re-launched our new product with all-new look, purpose, feel we've pretty much been in stealth mode. Franco from StatupPlays recently contacted us regarding an awesome new series they've been promoting on StartupPlays. We're honored to have made their list of notable tech startups that TechCrunch missed in October.
Check out their post and let us know what you think!

12 Ridiculously Dumb/Funny Things Found on Resumes
Drawing attention to your resume is usually a good thing, but be mindful of spelling and grammatical mistakes, otherwise you might find yourself conveying the wrong message. Donât let this happen to you.
âA marketing professional with a ânever settle for the bestâ attitudeâ
- well I guess there is always settling for less than best, or perhaps even mediocre. After all, if youâre the best at something, then whereâs your incentive to do better.
âWorking at **** airline, I gained experience managing cabin crew in a pressurized environmentâ
- guess managing in a pressurized environment designed to mimic earthâs environment is more difficult than managing on the ground.
âCareer break in 1999 to renovate my horseâ
- spell check doesnât catch everything.
 â1990 â 1997: Stewardess â Royal Air Forceâ
- this one might actually be accurate, but I canât help but wonder if this woman is somehow serving cocktails to fighter pilots.
Hobbies: âenjoy cooking Chinese and Italiansâ
- typos on your resume can be a killerâŚ.in this case, literally.
âAnalytical & Problem Solving skills * As a child, I always enjoyed building jigsaw puzzles and was always determined to find the missing piece.â
- I would highly recommend deferring from stating accomplishments that would have been impressive if you were 3 years old.
âPlease note from my CV I have 6 years buying and negotiating and Sock-Control experienceâ
- I wonder if this is a typo, or if this person really does have excellent sock control. One will never know.
âService for old man to check they are still alive or not.â
- turns out this service was a website to check on the well-being of relatives, but this probably wasnât the most elegant way to put it.
â2001 summer Voluntary work for taking care of the elderly and vegetable peopleâ
- pretty sure that referring to people as vegetables is not going to land you your dream job.
âIâm intrested to here more about that. Iâm working today in a furniture factory as a drawerâ
- pretty sure this wasnât the response the employer was looking for.
âI am about to enrol on a Business and Finance Degree with the Open University. I feel that this qualification will prove detrimental to me for future success.â
- perhaps a dictionary is in order for this person.
 âTarget Position : Misssionaryâ
- I prefer not to comment on this one.
