Did you hear? Carol Danvers knows magic now and will apparently be the most powerful sorcerer in Marvel comics.

Also apparently “Captain Marvel try to save the lives of billions and prevent the future apocalypse” according to the writer

So Marvel is throwing more stuff as this character to see what sticks.

Well she’s already pretty powerful by herself so my math adding magic powers she technically becomes the most powerful sorcerer in the universe. Still I don’t know why Marvel keeps trying to make her the “BEST ___ IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE” like I get it she’s strong, but is that the only thing they know what to do with her?

MCU Mar-Vell was Barakapool levels of bad but rumor has it they will expand upon the character more in Captain Marvel 2 and what “she” means to Carol, so we might see more of “her”

Just another reason for me not to watch it especially when Bening’s preformace in the first film was weak

they should have done either that old lady carol liked OR mar-vell and not a weird smooshed version. but personally i am done with the mcu unless adam shows up.

I agree with anon which is why I think Danny DeVito should play She-Hulk.

He’s a good actor that has been in many 4th wall breaking comedys and he played a good lawyer in The Rainmaker.

Danny DeVito should absolutely appear in She-Hulk. Not as any character just as Danny DeVito.

Marvel has constently been changing their comics to mach the movies lately. My worst fear is that they will bring Mar back as an old lady that looks like the MCU version.

considering how very unpopular everyone found the mcu mar-vell, i don’t think they’d do that. not to mention how it screwed over genis/phyla/hulking.

I’m scared for Hulkling in the MCU because with Mar-Vell being an old woman his back story makes no sense

I’ve already talked about the few ways they can fix this.

Easiest is to make her son also named Mar-Vell. And a great Kree Warrior that maybe she had a falling out with. He then meets a Skrull princess and falls in love. Easy peasy and Lawson becomes Teddy’s grandma. Boom!
