No, she never cut her hair in the books. She has shoulder length hair the whole time. I think that was in someone’s fic, but it’s a way to explain the show cut, I guess. But still the show never cared about her feminine side, from the hair to the i’m no lady, to the you sound like a bloody woman. All of that is not Brienne at all.

This has made my morning, thank you. I shall continue to be utter trash for this show that healed my soul.

what sense does this make did they wanted to give brienne an excuse to kill stannis or what

But still,they had Sandor on the show so he could say his lines so ???!!!??? why give his lines away to other charcters?i’m in pain.

I feel like this happens with a huge number of characters.  I think we as readers like to forget their ages because it makes it easier to handle.  Put a number on an age, and you automatically think of where you were at the time, what you were doing, how little (or how much) you'd gone through in comparison.  It hurts so much for all of them, but I feel like Brienne doesn't even get the "remember kids how young she is" that others get.
