His breathing was hard as he finally reached a cleared out area where the drones weren’t around, though he still heard the screams from the beast in the distance from another side of the sector. He held on to his shoulder from the gash that he had been left with as it was more important than the cuts and scratches on his arms.Â
Though it hadn’t been nothing deep, it was still something that worried him as he didn’t have anything on him to wrap the injury after running from falling rubble as he made his escape from the drones.
Before he was able to sit down to give himself time to breathe better, he spotted a figure in the distance. He squinted to get a better look upon seeing it was another person instead of a drone--
That couldn’t have been.
He quickly made his way through the mounts of debris as the figure was coming closer. He couldn’t believe who he was seeing, but calling out wouldn’t hurt at this point as long as no danger was around.
