YEEMAO album design

It's the album design that I did for Taiwanese rap crew 夜貓組 Yeemao from 顏社 KAO!INC. It's their first album and KAO!INC decided to do something old school and fun... They made it in 100 copies cassettes. It was pretty cool to do cassette design, it brings me back lots of music memories about my childhood~ In this album, I did a small comics about their first music video. It's something about how they raised and do some hood thang. The idea of comics came from Taiwanese old snacks "Guai-Guai (乖乖)". In this snack, they puts some small toys or small comics inside the bag to entertain the customers besides foods. I think it's really connecting with the image of YEEMAO in wild and local Taiwanese style. - 這是之前幫顏社的夜貓組的第一張專輯做的設計. 這是他們的第一張專輯, 顏社決定做些有趣又”老派“的嘗試... 他們做了一百張限量發行的卡帶. 這次做這個專案感覺提回了我小時候的一些音樂回憶～ 這張專輯裏, 我做了一個短篇漫畫關於他們第一支音樂錄影帶關於他們怎麼崛起然後做了一些街頭的屎. 漫畫的靈感是來自于台灣老零食“乖乖”裡頭的小漫畫. 我覺得這樣的感覺跟夜貓組的那種有點本土和狂野的印象很相配.

SUNDAY NIGHT SLOW JAMS album design

It's the album design that I did for Taiwanese rapper 國蛋 GorDoN from 顏社 KAO!INC. It's the last episode for his study aboard life in New York. (He made 1 EP and 1 mixtape before this one while he was in New York) For the main image, I took the image of his window back in New York's apartment. He watched New York city's view and doing his music things day and night. So does New York city... I wanna show the effect between environment and artist. They all effecting each other. - 這是前陣子幫顏社的饒舌歌手國蛋設計的專輯封面. 這是他在紐約求學生涯的最後一個章節. （求學期間他製作了一張ep和一張mixtape）在主要視覺物件上, 我使用了一扇他在紐約房間的窗戶. 當他在紐約時期, 不論日與夜他望著這扇窗外的紐約景色做著他的音樂, 而紐約的景色亦然... 我想呈現環境與藝術家之間的互相影響.
