Update on Pixel Rubber Duckies, first mentioned on August 19 and then again yesterday, August 20.Â
The floor is currently .029 (Polygon ETH) for Duckie #123 (pictured above), and the little project that could now counts 141 owners for its 505 cute little Anatidae.Â
What’s more: the Discord, ably patrolled by DaddyShark (among others), is hopping. Come join us. Or don’t. I’m not your dad.
I haven’t been in this space for a very long time but I can’t remember the last time a tiny little project (.002!) caught fire quite like this. Wherever 0xRicardo is, I hope he/she is (/they are) enjoying how much we’re enjoying the ducks.Â

Is there something morally indefensible about people buying and selling blockchain collectibles for many multiples of the median annual U.S. income? Probably, but at least they’re not hurting anyone. (Put it this way: One of the least harmful things I can imagine a young, mostly male group of extremely online people doing in their spare time is trading pictures of cartoon penguins.)
