// Well to be accurate, Kabuto doesn’t remember his parents and more than likely they could be dead since he was unconscious near a destroyed town. But just because his real father died doesn’t mean that adoptive fathers count as being father figures to him. In his lifetime, he actually had two father figures, both good and bad. 

Let’s start with the first father. Remember, he was brought into the Konoha orphanage so Mother Nono had two other adults helping her. And we know Keiri the chubby nun who was strict with the children, but who was the other guy? 

Kanpu!  This man helped Nono and Keiri with the children as well so he must’ve been father to not only to Kabuto but to the other children as well. He’s not in charge but he did help raise the children. So he counts. He probably also stepped up when Nono left to do that mission for Danzo.  He raised Kabuto for 3 years before he left for Root and Kabuto was a sweet child back then. 

Now we can finally mention the second father figure who was really responsible for Kabuto being “bad”. 

Yup. Our favorite man Orochimaru is who you should be ratting on instead of Kabuto himself. Orochimaru was the one who manipulated Kabuto into doing those horrible crimes against humanity, and not only Kabuto but MANY OTHER CHILDREN AS WELL. Now I’m not saying that Kabuto himself is an innocent cinnamon roll because he too should be at fault for his actions, but most of his decisions and his choices were Orochimaru’s fault. But despite all of the horrible things, Orochimaru DID raise Kabuto and kept him safe from Danzo. He taught him how to defend himself and taught him many subjects that if Kabuto wasn’t a shinobi, he would be a brilliant doctor or scientist if he wanted to.
