13. what’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

there's one that gets passed around on here all the time to the effect of "when writing dialogue, your characters can say anything except for exactly what they mean" and frankly I can pull a scene out of just that advice alone. it's so helpful.

25. What fic do you wish you got more of a response on?

you know what? I don't know that I have one. I think people have been very kind to me and my one or two friends who leave nice comments are enough to leave me satisfied.

the real answer is "my brilliant friends, and i have way more than 3 of them", so I'm going to challenge myself by picking 3 people who aren't my friends.

33. Do you want to be published some day?

It was an animated show I watched some episodes of on the tv when I was but a wee child.

It's about basketball playing kangaroos.

I remember one specific episode- something about some distopian stuff happening at this lady, the mayor or president or something, saying the team name backwards disguising it as a cough.

Another thing I vaugely remember was the train riddle.

I might watch it just to... Idk. See what the fuck is it even.

Abboud (his headcanon name, not his official name)

- Has a knack for cute stuff, particularly Cinnamoroll.

- Always keeps his cheerful facade despite his traumatic past.

- He is really concerned about Heo-ri's habit of overworking and sleeping late.

- Every time he tries to cook something for Heo-ri, he always ends up with minimal disaster, but he's fine with it.

- Loves painting his nails, he even wants to do the same with Barka to stop him from picking on his nails.

- He's a total opposite of Heo-ri's stoic personality.

- Definitely scared of cucumbers. Every time Heo-ri cooks, he wants to make sure that there will be no cucumbers included.

- Abboud is the only karateka who has heterochromic eyes. (One blue, one brown)

Barka (another character shared the same name, but this one is from Episode 21 and 34)

- Tries to be tough for Robur's karateka, but he's actually not really tough.

- An absolute softie.

- Loves everything cute, much like Abboud (These two share the same passion).

- A truly sensitive soul, meaning Barka cries a lot when he talks about his past.

- He sometimes regresses to calm himself down when he struggles with lots of trauma from his childhood. (He wants to reclaim the childhood he never had since he grew up in an abusive environment, especially from his dad).

- Keeps lots of plushies, but he mostly favours My Melody and Keroppi.

- Absolutely scared of chickens, but he has no problem eating them as long as they don't look like chickens at all (mostly cut into pieces).

- He's a fan of KDrama, and Lovely Runner is his no.1 favourite show.

Yvan (I love this big buff man sm)

- Looks like wanting to punch you, but he's actually a gentle giant, since he's the only muscular karateka here.

- Has the most relaxing voice from Episode 51 and Episode 64. Listening to him talking is like an ASMR.

- A huge marshmallow lover!! He loves everything with marshmallows included. Bonus extra if you show him the pics of marshmallows or give them to him.

- He is biracial (His mom is from Sharvana and his dad is from Vetrenyngrad)

- The oldest karateka in the gang (He's 32, and most of his gang are around 28-29).

- Looks serious most of the time, but he's actually a shy and sensitive sweetheart, unless someone messes with him.

- Hates clowns and has a deadly fear of them. He'll be freaked out and cries by pranks and movies related to clowns.

- When he hugs someone he trusts, he will hug them tightly.

- He's been longing to find the love of his life.

- Not a typical tough guy.

- Has a habit of falling asleep for a sudden.

- Much like Abboud, he loves to paint his nails, but in a more secretive way. His favourite colour is dark violet.

- Despite the fact that we rarely hear him sing, he actually can SING.

Mahir (Not his official name, and this guy is from Episode 25 of the Kangoo series)

- Has a fascination for capybaras, he can't stop talking about them

- He is autistic (You can see in that episode I mentioned above, he loves the orders, sometimes he breaks it).

- He can be pretty rebellious sometimes.

- He's younger than Barka and Abboud (he's around 26-27).

- He is pretty sarcastic and loves listening to metal music.

- He is absolutely chill but can be energetic sometimes.

HMMMM very interesting ask... i'm afraid i'm not all too good at Good Word so i'm not sure about custom skills but here's my attempt for eli based on hdb's skills:

i'd say he leans very heavily in the intellect/psyche categories, i wouldn't even consider physique lmfao his ass would die the second he sits in the chair in evrart's office 😭

but highlighted are his proficiencies in each - he's a smooth talker, and molds himself into what the people around him want/need/expect him to be for his own advantages (except for boone who comes to see through it because they spend so much time together). he does it mostly through empathy, but isn't above straight up lying (drama) or suggestion to get what he wants.

his inland empire is somewhat weak because ironically he doesn't trust his gut too much and has to rely on evidence and things he can tangibly see, hear, or feel to make decisions... e.g. speaking to cachino tells eli he's a total slimeball but it's not until he speaks to joana that he really decides to put the screws to the guy. authority is on account of him being a somewhat dainty guy in a big bad world where you could easily strangle him no problem (lol) and esprit de corps i suppose in this case would refer to the NCR and while he understands the culture and the people he doesn't embrace it at all.
