What I suspected for a few days is probably true: Kuma engages in fin biting. While it does seem to be random and not that excessive, his tail has grown a lot since I got him and I feared that he would start destructing his fins. I watched him very often when trying to do a U-Turn and being buried under his upper tail fin, like an anteater and thought of he just snapped after his tail in frustration or during feeding times it would be damaged. I always fed him very carefully with food atop of him so he doesn't have to go after it. The current is minimal, lower than in the other tanks. He is not very aggressive or very territorial. He does not react to most forms of enrichment. He likes tabletennis balls though. Do you guys have any advice for fin biting?
Welcome to the family, Yasar! ❤️
