Whenever I open my room door and my cat Arthur will come ZOOMIN into my room to cuddle and its the sweetest thing I love my baby
Writing, especially writing with friends and bouncing ideas off of each other
Dancing, flowers, and music- all 3 of those cannot be separated
Making it extremely cold in my room and burrowing under the covers

I have learned recently,
that it is possible to melt in the cold.
You’re sitting in solitude,
in the dark, in a freezing tomb, with a blanket and a phone.
It’s nice.Â
That’s what you tell yourself.
There’s the option for light, for conversation, for movement.
But the numbing cold takes you in an embrace instead,
and you do not do anything.
And it’s nice.
It’sÂ
justÂ
nice.
But ice burns, and your emptiness enjoys playing games.Â
Frozen ice cubes fill your throat, your stomach, your mind, your heart
until the void is satiated.Â
And you melt from the inside.Â
It burns and scalds and your cry but only silence becomes of the room.
All that remains is a puddle of self loathing and the thought that maybe you deserved this after all.Â
if poetry were a song, its cadence would catch our hearts. a slow pianissimo that steadily becomes a forte- never higher than that, a fortissimo poem is reserved for only the most intense of emotions. this poem is a sigh, soft and gentle, teary eyed and bitter, a song ready to start. but I only write sheet music.
