Anyway this is what I found in like the first few minutes, the Bastion intro was pretty different

The four station visiting quest was called Remember: This is Forever instead of A Fate Most Noble. In the Alpha when you step into the pool to cleanse yourself, apparently the Maw Walker was not traumatised enough by Tariesh to manifest him. They just cleanse themselves and move on, nothing appears, Kleia says nothing

When Cephan arrived to Bastion again he did not remember the place at all. He didn't know who anyone was. What the Temple of Purity was. So he was very reluctant to go.

Cause she was mad enough to march right up to Devos being escorted by Adrestes and Kalisthene. Then sock her square in the face breaking her nose. Then grab her to let her know personally that 'was for Thanikos' and 'Archon hold me back if he does not make it there will be no force in this realm or the next to stop me from ripping those wings off your back and dropping you in the maw my self.'

When Vyraz told Cephan to go to the maw he was a little too willing to acsept he had to do that. Thales however, has a brain and realized that was incredably suspious on why Vyraz wanted Cephan to go to the Maw himself for a Baron who may or may not even exist.

Cephan however, stubborn as ever belived he had to. And belived he would be doing a good thing by dragging Thales back to Bastion where he'd be safe from loosing more body parts. He wouldn't listen to Thales who was telling him this was incredably shady.

Their arguing in Oribos as well as the fact Cephan forgot to cover any of his kyrian fetures had them quickly aprihended by Kalisthene as Cephan had been wanted ever since he slipped out of Bastion so kyrian where waiting if he ever showed up in Oribos.

So I've not really spoken much about the Polemarch role in my Kyrian AU. When it's one of the most important roles in Bastion.

The original first ever Polemarch was Uno, who was the first ascended granted by Kyrestia.

As an honour for his achievement and proving it was possible, Uno was chosen to be Kyrestia's voice to others. When she could not attend he would be there. He would be her eyes in Bastion when he could not. But Uno's own vision was thin. So when more ascended rose he chose a select few to expand the Archons eyes. Thus creating the Sentinels.

There have been twenty-four Polemarches since then making Adrestes the 25th and Kalisthene the 26th. The Polemarch is chosen by the previous polemarch similar to how a hand is chosen by a Paragon.

For Adrestes he had been surprised to be accepted into the Sentinels. And generally always thought Polemarch Chronus hated him. Chronus had always been notably staunch and proud, rarely showing his emotions. Nor ever openly naming a successor. He claimed he had chosen one but saw no reason to make it known till the time was right. When Chronus named Adrestes as his successor on his death bed, poisoned by a fatal fel wound, Adrestes was surprised to say the least.

The idea of becoming Polemarch was something he mulled on for days after Chronus' passing. He could turn it down and the Archon would choose another. It was Chryus who convinced him of his worthiness. Didn't mean the ceremony didn't terrify him of course. Being blessed by the Archon.

Then when Adrestes became Paragon, it was Adrestes' turn to choose a successor for the role. The majority of his sentinels were dead, or had become traitors. So he confided in Chyrus again but for a different reason.

He wanted Chyrus' permission to ask Kalisthene to become the new Polemarch. As Kalisthene was a Disciple of Humility. Chyrus told him with a smile that it wasn't his decision to make but he'd be happy to summon her here for him.
