Other writers: here's my 10k chapter, sorry it took me so long to write! I only had a few hours.
Me: I spent 20 minutes rewriting the paragraph it took me an hour to write, and then I forgot what the letter "k" looked like for a solid 10 seconds which sent me into an existential crisis. Anyways, here's 2 pages double spaced, it took me a month.

"I do hope to go back to it one day! The idea of leaving it unfinished makes me sad, after all of the time and work put into it -- not to mention lovely readers like you! When will that happen, though? I'm not sure lol. The plot kept expanding, and I began to have real doubts regarding my ability to truly do the scope of it justice. It's sorta tanked my enthusiasm/motivation. :("
Soo...I'm hoping to eventually do some rewrites of chapters that I am unhappy with, fix some pacing issues that I only noticed in hindsight, and thennn ~ hopefully! ~ I will be in the right mindset again to continue! I don't have a timeline for any of this, but I genuinely do hope to return to it sooner rather than later.
It really does mean so very much to hear from readers, and to know that you haven't given up on me.

2016 Baltic Cruise
Joining my friend Jane on another cruise, we decide to head to Northern Europe and enjoy a cruise in the Baltic with 3 days layover in St. Petersburg, Russia.
