i was just thinking about beru adopting (stealing) megumi again and the idea hit me. what if megumi "tamed" beru or igris? he can't control them, obviously, but they would still stick around and take care of child!megumi, while their king was busy doing nothing? (idk maybe doing holidays or smth like that) igris would teach him swordfighting and other important stuff, while beru probably would just fight everyone off
