the dish i specifically like is called "lamayo", which is a type of daing but daing also works hehe . the prompt we were given was "dreams" so i thought id give it my own spin, my own "dream" or "fantasy" :)

something about dried fish next to rice being savored by a hungry groggy lil elementary school kid at 6 AM on a school day feels weirdly affectionate, like something i really crave to feel. i never liked breakfast, and i still dont, i hate eating in the morning because theres too much going on with my senses, but my favorite viands always made me feel a little less frustrated with that silly little task. mundane stuff like that reminds me of the simple childhood i had, and a lot of it i want to relive weirdly enough.
