Beelz can be a loving and supportive partner, but also a pain in the ass who exhibits some concerning behavior.

If Beelz likes you, they will feed you.  So, you’ll wake up to breakfast in the morning, if your cohabitating - or Beelz otherwise has a way and permission to enter your home.  Gifts, ‘because it made me think of you’, or ‘because you said you needed x’.  Beelz can be sweet, and attentive to a lover's needs, but, it’s not all ‘having someone who is always willing to listen, and offers to kill those who have wronged you’.

Beelz has an uncanny ability to know where you are.  Probably because they slipped that drawing of their sigil under the backseat of your car.  They took the protective case of your phone, put the sigil-drawing there, and then put everything back.  Or they’ve sewn it into your clothes.  Maybe all three.  So, they already know you gave that new girl a ride home from work today.  But it’s okay.  No one is getting possessive.  Yet.  

Rory had seen them around, had figured out that they must be orphaned siblings... and suddenly the fact that they saw them often became less a comfortable neighborly sighting and more a fear that they were being watched by... some side of the VFD, one that didn't find them useless or harmless...

They had to confront them, or at least the older brother. Well, not confront, not violently or anything, but at least ask them if there was some reason they were always around. So the next time they saw the boy alone, they found their legs carrying them forward without much input from their less than abundant common sense.
