Kai rolled his eyes a smirk playing on his lips as he stared at his best friend. “Yes. It’s totally because I li~~~ke you.” He teasingly spat back his reply reaching up to poke your bottom lip.

"I seeeee you." Kai grins cutely, waving happily at Taemin.

"I would hope you do." Taemin murmured, a large smile on his face. He’d known his best friend for more than a long time, and because of such, he blew a kiss, awaiting a reaction.

Kai blinked before turning his head away, a short laugh escaping his lips, “I am not returning that.”

 He knew that his life was about to change when his mentor had told him over the phone that he has a big day ahead of him that morning. It was the day he was waiting for, the day he strived for all those years of training, and it was happening, finally. Without a doubt or hesitation in his step, Yixing was walking towards the SM building, his heart beating fast inside his chest and his mind buzzing with excitement. 

 He was finally going to debut. 

 There were rumors of a 12-member group being formed, and even though Yixing was one of the most hard-working trainees in the company, he had no hopes of getting in. His teachers and mentor praised him for his talents, but who would want to debut a Chinese kid who could barely speak Korean to a Korean music market? He knew the chances were slim, but something never gave up inside of him, and there he was, walking inside the training facility, navigating down to one studio he was told to come to, and then opening the door to reveal the inside. 

 It was, however, surprisingly empty. If he was being sent to meet his other co-members, then he certainly wasn't debuting in a 12-member group, but rather in a duet, since there was only one person inside, stretching their long legs with their back towards him. 

 Yet, Yixing didn't forget his manners even for one second.
