Between vape juice, vinyls, and incense burners, you ever think "can't we just get a fucking T-shirt? A phone case? A mug? Some charms?"
Sucks to be you then, as every item displayed above is no longer available for sale.
In 2015, a line of merch was announced showing a lot of variety and promise. only 2 years later, it disappeared without warning.
Going under different titles such as "Kaiji official goods, fkmt approved" and "zawazawa shop", this shop (which the twitter claimed was >ran by Tonegawa<) seemed to exclusively feature designs with manga panels from various fkmt works, and often had text in Japanese or English, the English sometimes being poorly translated or nonsensical, but resulting in some pretty iconic designs. These works included Kaiji and Kurosawa primarily, with a few items of Zero and Gai merch made and sold on the site. Merchandise for works such as Ten, Akagi, and Gin to Kin were planned but never seemed to make it beyond some general crossover pieces.
There was an insane amount of designs, making it incredibly difficult to track them all, god forbid make individual articles on all of them.
There was also a second line of Kurosawa goods that followed about the same style, with one standout piece being a shirt with a signed sketch of the main character that differs from the usual.
Suddenly around 2017, all known social media pages went quiet and rakuten pages were shut down. The reason is unknown, and it's kinda sad since in one article about the people behind it, they were incredibly excited and passionate about this collaboration and had ideas for things like Kurosawa's construction helmet and blacksuit sunglasses.
The most reasonable explanation could be a loss of rights to continue making or distributing products, but that's just a guess.
On what little remains of the archive of their rakuten page was categories for products such as baby clothes, phone cases, and even figures... though that title had the words "(in progress)" next to it... I suppose we'll never know what those could've been.
