Sekido growled as he leaned lower he revving up the throttle as the motorcycle was wavering between cars throughout the highway to head towards the city. It had been luck that he noticed his messaged from her message, stating she needed a ride after drinking, as she ended up being ditched at the club by her friends. He had been cleaning up a job, making sure a body would not be found as it had been dumped, but the male felt his heart racing as he drove fast, as the anger was pulsing through his veins. Nothing had been sent after that message nearly twenty minutes ago, which concerned him, as the side of town she was in was currently in a territory fight in the underworld, so lots of gangs were hanging out on the streets.
The male cursed, twisting the hands surging past some cars that honked at him as he turned off on an exit, the motor vibrating his entire being as everything was blurry. He drove through the streets, dodging all the people walking, as some shouted and cursed at him for speeding past them. The club he was pulling up to was pulsing with music and bright lights with neon letters reflecting everywhere, as a small line was gathered on the other side of the building, waiting to get in. The male slowed down, but did not turn off his engine as his crimson orbs glanced until he noticed her small frame near the alleyway behind the nightclub, surrounded by three men, roughly 5 '7 the tallest one. They were young, early twenties, and he could see the weapons in their back pockets, useless idiots.
Sekido’s jaw clenched as he watched the scene unfold, as one of them reached for Shinobu’s elbow, as clearly she was declining their advances. His eyes narrowed, waiting to see if he needed to intervene, when suddenly, he noticed one of the drunken fools reaching for the gun in their pants. Glaring daggers underneath the visor of his helmet, he throttled once as the engine roared to life and he turned on his brights to blind them as he charged forward. The group glanced over as they noticed that the motorcycle that had suddenly come to life was driving at them all full speed. The male did not stop, nor did he slow down as the tires rolled over the curb towards them, which spooked the young men really well. One stumbled backward deeper into the alley away from the street, while another pressed himself against the building, and the last one was still touching the woman frozen.
The motorcycle swerved just enough that the back tire clipped his knees to send the young man crawling on the sidewalk, howling like the mutt he was. The smell of burnt rubber filled the air as his friends quickly rushed over, picking up their injured friend while trying to hurry away, yelling in terror. Sekido came to a halting stop as the engine whooshed loudly just inches from the female, as he had put himself between the direction they were running off to and her. Flipping his helmet visor, his eyes glanced at her for the first time in months after the project was done. He promised they would leave her alone, but he left his personal cellphone number in case she wanted to reach out after everything. His heart was racing, but he did not say anything as he waited to see what she would say.
