KageTen - au circus/ acrobat/magician
Never heard of or thought about this ship before, but the AU has helped a lot with bringing these HC’s along!
Each school is a circus! The captains are the ring masters and the coaches (and teachers if applicable) are in charge of money and legal matters, other than that, the other positions vary from person to person.

Everyone has been aged up! The youngest are the first years who are now 18/19! Everyone has been aged up in the same way, so just shift everyone’s age up by 3 years!
Kageyama is a magician while Tendou is an acrobat who specialises in using the diabolo while on trapeze and tight ropes!

They first meet after Kageyama’s first run as part of Karasuno’s main circus act, a large number of other circus members coming to see Karasuno’s new recruits. Kageyama had gone outside to get some fresh air, only to get smacked in the face by a loose diabolo. This leads to a ridiculously dragged out apology from Tendou and a forced agreement that he’d make it up to the magician with a trip around the town once Kageyama’s shows for the week were over.
This turns out to be as bad as an idea as Kageyama’s gut had told him because Tendou’s version of “a trip around the town” was actually “the longest uncalled for date in existence” beginning with Tendou dragging Kageyama out of bed at 6am to go to a farm to feed the smaller animals before they were to be led to the petting zoo for the day.
Kageyama only gets truly ‘free’ days once Shiratorizawa finally move off for their own show run, as Tendou had insisted on seeing him whenever the younger boy was available, and while Kageyama boasts his gratitude that the acrobat had finally left, he soon realised that he had actually become quite attached to the man, subconsciously promising himself to be a good enough magician to be in a double act with him when Karasuno and Shiratorizawa had their joint show 3 months later.
They kept in touch with long phone calls and avid texting (mainly on Tendou’s side), never really stating that they were dating to others, but they didn’t have to since the first thing the pair did after seeing each other again when the suggested line up for Karasuno’s half of the act was make out (while Tendou was hanging from his trapeze no less) much to the distaste of most others there.
