Asuna sighed, leaning her head back against the side of the window. Perhaps it was unfair to blame someone she had never met for her misfortunes. After all, it was unlikely this god had given her this power. But still, she was left wondering why it had to be her, and her family, that held this gift, and why it seemed to have to come with so much heartache. 

She didn’t think much of the sound of the other ninjas whispering and shuffling around behind her - she wasn’t in her own quarters after all, but burrowed into an alcove in the wall. It wasn’t until she heard Kagatsuchi’s voice behind her that she sat up, turning around and letting out a startled yelp. She hadn’t expected the god to be listening, much less to show up. She smelled something burning. Looking down, she saw that she had burned fingerprints into the book she was holding when she was initially frightened.

She immediately jumped up from her spot and kneeled to the floor in front of Kagatsuchi, her forehead flush with the tatami. Raised in a remote Japanese village, she had been raised to treat gods with the utmost respect, though she had never met one until she came here. 

Morag, Brighid, and for the honor of Mor Ardain 

They're in the same boat as Fenrir and Hati, in that they haven't interacted, so we don't really know if it is canon, even if it probably is.

Honestly, it's probably for the best LW doesn't put too much focus on that stuff, cause myths can get SUPER weird SUPER fast. Like they played it up for laughs with Fuxi and Nuwa, but lore wise, yes they were married and yes they did in fact have kids.
