Stylida, Greece

The wet bottom square in all its glory yesterday. Today the puddles have dried out, leaving it clean & fresh. Today it's grey & windy & apart from a little foray to Themis' for coffee, I've stayed at home. Managed to finalise my trip to Monemvasia for Christmas. As I don't drive, I also booked excursions round Mani & surrounding areas. This evening I plan to attend a council meeting about recycling. What a wonderful evening! Strolled down to Liostasi to meet up with Eddy & his friend & watch the sunset. We had a delicious meal there in fabulous surroundings & lively conversation that covered a variety of topics. Most entertaining & well enjoyable. The evening just flew by. It was well after my usual bedtime when Eddy kindly drove me back to the village. As I reached the bottom square, I spotted a table of friends so I went over to greet them. They persuaded me to join them (with no arm twisting - I love watching shiftateli) & I spent a very pleasurable half hour listening to live Greek music & chatting with my mates.
