Nikolaos Lytras, Embarcación a vela en Panormos (Tinos). 1923-1926
Nikolaos Lytras ( griego : Νικόλαος Λύτρας ; Atenas , 1883 – 1927) fue un pintor modernista griego especializado en retratos, naturalezas muertas y paisajes.
Estudió pintura en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Atenas de 1902 a 1906, donde fue alumno de su padre, Nikiforos Lytras , y también de Georgios Jakobides .
Después de eso, se trasladó a la Academia de Bellas Artes de Múnich y estudió con Ludwig von Löfftz , entre otros, hasta 1912. Mientras estaba allí, también estuvo bajo la influencia de Der Blaue Reiter , un grupo de pintores expresionistas , y creó ilustraciones para la novela Un cuento sin nombre de Penélope Delta
