Atherton, Rachel
Rachel Atherton 25. Female. Unbound
She introduced Konstantin to the love of his life, and was right beside him when he lost her, and she's his closest friend. Rachel is Konstantin's sister, his shepherd, and his rock. Where their parents failed, they gave each other strength and love. In many ways, Rachel has always been the 'older sister' and 'mother' figure in their relationship, regardless of their actual ages.
Where Konstantin is more brooding and rebellious, Rachel is controlled and brusquely-determined. She's stubborn like him, but outdoes him when it comes to rigidity of standards. She strongly disapproves of her brother's deviance, but can't bring herself to write him off, instead shepherding him towards a better path. She herself is a student of the arts, and a prolific flutist. She performs in an orchestra and has already made a name for herself as a musician.
She is in the middle of producing her first album with her brother's financial backing(She just doesn't ask where the money came from), and is lookign to book her own venue in the next year or two. She's single and unbound, with a strong romantic streak that has her leaping from torrid romance to torrid romance. She's tall and fair skinned, with dark hair like her brother and deep green eyes as well.
Like Konstantin, Rachel had a love-hate relationship with her father, and only a slightly-better rapport with her late mother. Since her mother's demise, she has been more open to her father and visits him regularly, but it's more a matter of duty. She's warming to him, but still in mourning for the loss of her friend, Sinead, who was her brother's girlfriend and her musical partner.
