What a treat! I’m not the best at giving reviews but I am currently listening to Kae Sun’s Midnight and Other Endings. I’ve been following Kae Sun since Afriye and a favourite of mine was his song, “Blackstar Rising”. Genre’s are a social construct so enjoy listen and explore some sounds from his earlier works too <3

“Bright Lights” Produced by Yama/Sato

If I had to pick a favourite version of “Bright Lights”, it would be the technically flawed demo from 2019. It was during that session, that I came to the realization that some songs exist in the same register as my most prescient dreams. That’s the best way I can describe the feeling I got from the process.
