she’s got a blunt pinched between her thumb and forefinger, a pipe on the table in front of her, and a bong sitting by her feet ---- call it excessive, but she likes to think of it as prepared for anything. a part of her misses the old days, where a few good hits got her doing back flips in her chair, but the comforting taste of smoke on her tongue always seems to call her back only hours after she decides it’s about time to break down her tolerance. 

strands of her tied back hair fall into her face. she could probably use a shower right about now, but fuck it --- it’s the weekend. well, it’s her weekend anyway. no homework, no class, no cares in the world, and certainly no changing out of her comfiest PJs. it’s definitely a good day to break out the ecstasy, but she’ll play it by ear for now.

“Probably Teddy.” she shrugs, but her lips press together hard in a questioning expression. air is sucked between her grit teeth, head tilts to the side, the blunt between her thumb and middle finger come up for a quick puff ( not that it’s gonna do anything — sometimes it just tastes good ) — is it really him? it actually sounds kinda pathetic, now that she’s said it out loud. 

but really, is there anyone else she can trust at all?

when it comes down to it, real trust doesn’t extend too far outside of the family name for a faust. anyone can betray anyone, but at least one can expect swift, inescapable retribution in the name of making things even or ( even better ) that’s just how it works. and as much as he pushed the limits of respect, the answer is immediate and almost forceful when he speaks:
