you know i don't think i've ever seen a tv/film character with acne without it being either like .. the butt of a joke or a huge problem which needs immediate solving. like the amount of shows in which a character gets the SMALLEST amount of acne and it's literally the end of the world is so incredibly damaging ??? they're just telling us that acne is supposed to be hidden and regarded negatively and freaked out about. it really messes up your confidence to be shown that a totally normal thing is shameful and disgusting. thanks media i hate you

Okay, all kidding aside first of all I want to apologize if I left any ask or message unanswered, I went through a very... Introspective phase where talking to anyone was very daunting and alas that came with me taking this umprompted break from Tumblr and all my friends who are beyond lovely for being as understanding as they are.
Now, I am not gonna lie, still a little at flight risk so I don't know if I'll touch the over 70+ notes I have tonight (besides it's almost my new bedtime and I am getting sleepy) but I promise that I intend to see to it this weekend and if you sent me something important just comment here and I will go talk to you. That's a promise.
Now, for some life updates:
I reached my Goodreads goal for the year and I am beyond happy about this
Apollo's birthday is this Sunday and I have no idea what to do for him because the baby is allergic to pretty much everything π
Both Apollo and I have ear infections (nasty ones because mine came with migraines attacks, tooth aches and a slight fever --- but I am getting better and am almost 100%; Apollo is slightly more quiet, but he is also on the way to get better)
I fiiinally learned how to draw my eyebrows and I am mighty proud of that
In this vein I am also discovering a love for makeup so there's that (I accept any and all tips)
Still going to therapy weekly (it's been great even when it's hard)
I am trying to make myself leave the house at least once a week - not gonna lie this one has been hard and I got sick every time I left but I am very proud I managed to leave at all

Oh yeah I am re reading the black dagger brotherhood because I want to get caught up on that so anyone wants a buddy read?
