A decent hook, not remarkable enough but trendy sound, trendy neon aesthetic, trendy choreography, just add some hard work and they should be able to amass supporters to stay afloat. 

This industry is essentially a creative sweatshop beneath its glamorous facade, and I still question myself at times whether it’s right to still support kpop despite the multiple ugly issues that persist and the many, many unhealthy and small-minded ideals it propels to both the creators i.e. artists and the consumers i.e. us fans.

A gorgeous full package of tropical chill pop for both title track and side tracks, check. Absolute superior cohesion between both soundscape and concept, check. Heck it’s so obvious their production design team was probably highoff their faces on tumblr aesthetic postings and dafont but lbr the album visuals is beautiful mandals needs to die already though

Everything just falls into place with this album and production quality remains superb even for the b-sides which isn’t the usual case, so let us take a minute to appreciate this masterpiece, starting from the chill af album opener that is Daybreak, which also somewhat serves as a semi-solo venture

Look (best 2016 b-side no lie a starlight night). I still hear “americano” in the chorus but who cares this song is fucking gorgeous, as gorgeous as Ren is.

R.L.T.L., that go-to song for a chill afternoon, sorry boys this night owl don’t do waking up in the morning. Here’s a 3D audio version of it, just because the instrumental needs more love.

And of course like all well-rounded EP, a self-composed song that nicely showcases both vocals and composing abilities.
