THE HEARTSLABYUL DORM CAME WITH A PLETHORA OF RULES AND DUTIES, some more ridiculous than others. The ROUTINE presented to them was EXPECTED to be followed without a fail. ACE was no exception to the rule. When given the RESPONSIBILITY to take care of the dormβs HEDGEHOGS, he was supposed to do as he was TOLD. Unsurprisingly, he ended up doing things on his OWN terms, bringing along an UNEXPECTED companion to the job.
AFTER @k-alim BEGGED HIM TO TAKE HIM TOO, ACE did so against his BETTER judgment. Even if he was to check up on the little creatures ALONE, he thought SCARABIAβs housewarden wouldnβt do any harm. As EASILY EXCITABLE as he was, he wouldnβt cause trouble ON PURPOSE.Β

Idia practically has to cover his eyes from how blindingly bright this guy's aura is, not to mention how loud he is as well. He silently curses his horrible luck and mutters a prayer to whatever god is out there to see him through this interaction, though he's sure they've all forsaken him at this point. Kalim bounds over to him with a bounce in his step that may as well be accompanied by boss music because Idia seriously considers just fleeing.
He is not at all prepared for the flurry of words that comes out of the Scarabia Housewarden's mouth. Lights? Show? What? The sudden requests that are piled onto Idia are practically overbearing, and as if to use it as a shield, Idia whips out his tablet.
"Thanks for considering me but no thanks. That sounds like a lot of work. Not only does it sound like there's gonna be zero loot, it's going to be loud and crowded and I prefer to avoid that."
And he hopes that will be the end of that. Idia is already starting to slowly shuffle backwards, even though it's the opposite of where he needs to go. Kalim's bright, wide eyes are practically sparkling. Luckily, Idia is immune to that pleading look simply because he can't bring himself to even make eye contact.

Expectations were placed on him by his DEMANDING housewarden, which he RARELY met. To have EXCELLENT grades like his upperclassman wanted, heβd have to try HARDER than he did. With his TENDENCY to slack off, he BARELY made the mark, despite his CAPABILITY to do good work when he put his MIND to it. With his FLUCTUATING grades, going BEYOND the school walls seemed out of question. EVEN an indoor event appeared FAR beyond his reach.Β
WHEN ALL HOPE WAS LOST, the first-year was saved by none other than KALIM, Scarabiaβs SUNSHINE. HIS OFFER WASNβT LOST ON HIM, and ACE didnβt need convincing to follow the housewarden. If it meant ABANDONING his textbooks and responsibilities even for a BRIEF moment, he wouldnβt HESITATE. Heβd take this OPPORTUNITY and run with it, before his HOUSEWARDEN would realize where he was off to.Β
A SMILE IS PLASTERED ON HIS FACE as he walks beside the second-year. He is practically BEAMING at the mere mention of being taken SOMEWHERE that wasnβt his dorm.Β

In the evening before bed, obviously. What insane person showers in the morning when you're going to start your day and get dirty anyway? Then it just means you have to shower again before you go to bed... So inefficient, and Idia is nothing if not efficient.
do they use specific perfumes?
Idia has no interest in perfumes or scents and aromas, and he doesn't like scents that clog up his sinuses because of how strong they can be. If one had to describe his scent, it would just be the simple smell of the soap he uses, and it's not uncommon for his hands to carry a distinct metallic smell from working on new gadgets and new parts for Ortho.
