The sunset on the Blue Ridge is a tourist’s dream, but Soul is just following the lead of an image that had been tucked away in a letter he received years before. It’s some sort of promise—one he’ll have to wait until the peak to find out.

Maka’s camera shutter has closed around the sun over the Blue Ridge too many times to count. While those photos help pad her pocket, they’re also a reminder that all things come to an end. Maybe that cycle can be broken—especially with the right promise.
