Andrew really really loves Aaron.. and it's just so evident..yes I've seen people saying it's the deal and things have been fractured between them since long..but no matter what andrew loves him very very much, his first reaction in that room in Columbia was to check whether aaron was okay or not..also Aaron might be a little shit..but he loves andrew in his own twisted way because he couldn't forgive andrew even though andrew did it to protect him..they love each other enough to kill for each other and I can't emphasis enough..also one thing every reread brings me closer to is..aaron knows how much neil means to andrew?? You are kidding yourself if you think he doesn't, that whole scene in that cabin happened because aaron wanted to test whether whatever is happening is something he could take advantage of to break the deal and in his own way also gauged how protective neil can get for andrew (pretty shitty way tbh) but aaron definitely refuses to acknowledge their relationship because he's jealous of neil being the person his brother, his twin opened up to.. and maybe a part of me thinks he wants andrew to acknowledge katelyn too..
