As an artist and writer, these two classic gems never fail to intrigue and inspire me...where other people would probably just see @justingossman naked in a French bathtub (I admit...I did too, initially) I found myself drawn to so much more...memories, thoughts and my reflections upon the life of the great #JimMorrison...trawling through his poetry and lyrical wonders..... Within this picture, the placement of the heels-perhaps even accidental-the dramatic poise and elegance of @justingossman with his head thrown back seemingly in bliss but perhaps for lots of reasons...(was the water cold? Was it easy to sit in a French bathtub? Did Jim Morrison pass through any other minds?....the shadows and light, the shapes, colours and concepts drew me to brainstorming and writing what I feel is one of my most intense written pieces yet, fuelled by lengthy hours of etching words onto blank pages to the crooning voice of Morrison or to Serge Rachmaninoff's piano sonata...I find myself once again in awe of these pictures, the maddeningly beautiful subject #justingossman and the talent and minds behind it all...
