he was the one who proposed it the first time with the excuse of "hell's too overpopulated. we need to reduce that number or they could turn to us in any moment and a war against them would be catastrophic." the seraphims and other high ranked angels took a while to think about the proposal, actively kill demons in their own home wasn't exactly a good idea to keep the order in peace, but the archangel of war knew better when it comes to that type of stuff, right?

he doesn't give a fuck about how many demons are down there, he just wants their blood shed along the floor, to make his power grow and make demons cower at his sight. he's deadly, and wants everyone to know, that's why he goes every other month to join his little exterminators and just see that bloody sight that feels him with a different kind of euphoria.

there was this one time one certain fight caught his attention. blue light and electricity against one of his kind; he felt strangely mesmerized by the way that certain demon fought, the determination, the sheer force and power he carried on those claws, the maddening expression on that curious shaped head. he definitely had to be one of those... how was they called? overlords, yes, those demons that were much more stronger than a normal sinner or hellborn.

he never cared that much about them, they were just pieces much more satisfying to kill than a random demon, but this time it felt different. he knew that determination, the hidden desperation of fighting like your life depended on it (in his case, it was like that), and that attracted him much more than it should.
