Thoughts on plural lunar? Thoughts on the amount of Plural Lunar Art you've seen recently? :)

YES YES YES WITH PLEASURE

Okay so. Lines Lunara, Void, and Lord Lunar all up in a nice little row.

To start with brief explainations, my basis for Lunara's alterhumanity is rooted in the fact that they never really felt... well. okay when i say "human" I know they're robot but you know what I mean LMAO Lunara's uprising means they never really felt "human." You know? They were reset over n over to make sure they were Right, so they didn't really get to be a person. They were much more definitively a tool.

With Void's story, it sticks close to canon Lunar until wayyy way later, when the nsp arc begins! So they have feelings that are very similar to canon Lunar, but their Wild Divergence makes it just different enough to not be The Same.

And Lord Lunar..... I honestly still don't know what I think their life at the Start was, but I definitely think that them and servant Eclipse have been doing the same song n dance for so long now that their identity is more based on the roleplaying than what stood before. They're not a dog because they aren't the one indebted to anyone—they have someone serving them.

THEREFORE. My conclusion:

Lunara views themselves like a dog that was being raised for dog fighting, but mauled their abusive trainer and ran off before they had to fight. The power is back in their hands, they're free, and they now have the skills to use their teeth if anyone does that ever again. (They ignore any potential ideas of them being a lost and violent stray now. Being a stray is a sad thing. Strays are hungry and desperate and lonely. They're not a stray. They're in control. They are in control.)

Void views themselves like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Kinda like Mothy's sacrificial lamb coding of Lunar, they viewed themselves as something that was so used to being shoved around and muzzled that they didn't even remember they Could fight back. They view themselves as always having been a wolf, but they didn't realize it until they were next up for the slaughter—that being when the astrals said they couldn't be trained anymore. Them accepting both powers was them "breaking free" and barring their teeth again and shedding their disguise that they used to think was their actual body.

And Lord Lunar views themselves as a crow or an evil cat because both have a slightly sinister connotation, but are also juuust playful enough to not be a guaranteed death sentence. Crows are smart and resourceful at times, collecting little objects and taking what they like. And cats are cats. But ☝️!!! I also think it's worth noting that Lord Lunar is prone to changing this at any time depending on what role they want to play. I am basing off their attitude In The Ep. If they wanted to be more aggressive though? They could be a dog too, or a snake, or a bear. If they wanted to be sillier? They could be a parrot or seal.

🧩 Interest hc: Wouldn't it be hilarious if Lunar had an interest in five nights at freddys. Anyways actual answer LOL I think Lunar, despite canon saying otherwise, rlly rlly likes horror stuff with a recent fascination in cosmic/eldritch horror ofc ofc.

I can see Lunara (<- functioning on the idea of them being separate from Void) getting into taking apart and putting back together machinery n stuff. Specifically so that they can investigate what devices have been used to try n attack them and see if it could do any real damage or not LOL

And Void....... I want Void to have an interest in spiders n parasites I think. I can't explain it but I think Void would like comparing themselves to a spider. Shrug

🐯 Nonhuman identity hc: LUNAR IS A PUPPY DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could absolutely see them being other animals but i can't see them as anything than a doggy first and foremost.

and I think that's what would effect their identity most. and I think this applies to all other Lunars EXCEPT Lord Lunar who perhaps views themselves as some sort of crow or evil cat

🧵 Hobby hc: I know this is kinda basic or obvious but i DO think Lunar likes to draw n doodle. I think they just got Extremely Shy about sharing any of their stuff after they made that texture pack forever ago. They maybe also dabble with decently easy origami....

I could see Lunara getting into cats cradle specifically to make spider web patterns to look through the middle at survivors and freak people out <3

It's been a minute since I've interacted with this blog, but something happened in my day to day that reminded me of you and sunny-aethesthics vigilante in sleuth jesters!

I've been wearing alot of pins in my hair, and I've noticed a hilarious trend of them slowly but surely covering every surface of my house. I wash my hair and find several I forgot to take out, I look under my pillow and there's a new pile

Which is to say: how would the various boys in sleuth jesters react if the vigilante, notorious for their lockpicking with hair pins and the such, slowly began leaving little trails of hair accessories around their homes?

With Sun and Moon, it's an endearing annoyance, if such a thing can exist. Sun has to clean the pins out of the shower drain and Moon has started up a collection in a small tin can that he tells the vigilante to take whenever he can catch them slipping in or out of the window of their apartment. Sun can sometimes steal a moment to slide a pin into the vigilante's hair before they take off again. Moon if a bit gruffer with his reminders to not leave so much around, but when does that ever stop them?
