Once Upon a Time modern setting costumes: Match pretty well with the characters, have personality and are functional. Effective and not distracting.
Once Upon a Time fantasy setting costumes: Budget per season covers only the fitted leather jackets and the Evil Queenâs dresses. Everyone else has to bring their own costume and makeup from home. Medieval guards are in the room with men dressed from the 1700s while women wear modern day prom dresses while a Tudor group of minstrels perform, and itâs not supposed to be a joke. The plot is irrelevant because youâre too busy trying to figure out how all these fashion timelines exist at once.
