I’m Angel! I play FFXIV (Mateus on the Crystal Data Center) and spend a good 90% of my time in the game stuck in GPose. I work graveyard shifts, so I’m not a member of any RP FCs (alas!) and honestly, in game RP is a thing of the past 99% of the time. I’m married to Seifer d’Latu’s player, spend most of my time consuming books, love horror movies and good stories. White AF (I glow in the dark) and bi and cis and gloriously middle-aged. I promise I only bite my husband, so feel free to wave at me if you see me in game (probably on Anna) or ping me if you just want someone to chat with!

And really, she couldn't disagree.

Yes, perhaps brushing an alpaca meant a lot of loose fur, flying dust, itchy dirt, and getting spit on once in a while, but...

Being useful made her happy, and learning to work with animals gave her more satisfaction than she ever would've imagined.

Getting a handful of friends away from Everkeep for a little vacation took some wrangling, just because of everyone's schedules.

And getting the tickets to visit Leynode Pryo in Living Memory... That took all of the favors she had available to use.

Manx considered it quite worth the trouble, especially when Ultra and Horus hit it off so well, and so quickly. Mainly, of course, by not really bothering each other.

Horus needed the time away from prying eyes, a chance to interact with people who he didn't suspect of preparing to sell him out to the nearest lab.

Aria looked downright content to drape herself over the inflatable donut brought along for the sheer fun of it. She moved in lazy circles around the pool, circling in towards the violet center only to drift back out.

Granted, they weren't actually enjoying the physical reality of a pool, of heat, of cold water... but being plugged into a electrosimuli came close enough. Manx couldn't stop being delighted that they'd had the wit to reallocate Living Memory into a vacation spot simulation.

Even shortly after sunrise, the heat rose quickly enough to bleach the sky white. The brim of her hat provided some shade, but not enough that she could watch the water. If she got a bite, she'd have to rely on the feel of the pole and line to tell her.

Not for the first time, Enola wondered about moving somewhere else, somewhere cooler. She remembered the wistful sighs that her ex-husband gave throughout their first summer together, how he'd described Garlemald's snowy landscape with longing. Not where she'd choose to relocate, certainly, but Urqopacha, perhaps.

In her heart, she knew she'd never leave. Shaaloani would be her home until she rejoined the Lifestream, and she liked it that way. Perhaps that'd been what Alain never truly understood. Griping about the heat and talking about wanting winter... That was part of living in Shaaloani, part of loving it.
