I had several struggles with the game while Yuri and Tahiya were there, but once I got them back home I thought things seemed okay-ish. There seemed to be fewer crashes to desktop--at least, on their first day home.

But now, when I try to load any save I've created since their return to Midnight Hollow, it's a full 5- or 6-minute wait, and when I go out to the neighborhood map view, Enya's house won't render at all.

The final nail in the coffin is that my game now CTDs if you move the camera too quickly, or across town, or between floors, or in a direction it doesn't like, or on a Tuesday under a waning gibbous moon, or or or.

So I've packed up all seven Padrinos (which is at least four too many of these jokers imo) into one household using Edit Town, and have parceled them back out into (apologies, @happy-lemon) Sunlit Tides. I had planned to move Wilona there at some point anyway, in accordance with the Neptune theme for her generation, but I'd also hoped to get her to young adulthood first.

(I considered just putting them all back into a new Midnight Hollow, but what I learned playing Midnight Hollow is that it is not my jam, and the townies are not great.)

I should probably just be thankful that I can still run my EPs and store items, because it seems like fully half the subreddit can't even do that.
