JUPITER RETROGRADE IN PISCES: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Throughout this cycle,  developing inner strength,  spirituality, visualization,  intuition, dreams,  creativity and imagination will be the focus.    In addition, because Pisces rules the 12th house, one of the houses representing endings, the desire and need to regroup, retreat and be introspective will become highlighted.    This house and sign together, represent a deep secret part of each person’s life,  a strong interest in the mystical, things connected to hospitals and prisons.   This isn’t necessarily literal in its meaning,  but for one reason or another, people may find they have to “heal” themselves in a quiet environment/space away from others, behind closed doors,  or in  the worst case scenario imprisonment of Self.   Ingesting substances in excess that are not good for physical well-being is also part of this transit, that will ultimately lead to sorrow and self-undoing,  illusion, delusion and confusion,  which is the negative side of Pisces.

Jupiter,  acts as a magnifying glass and a “protector”  throughout its cycle, in whichever house it is in, therefore, there will be “warnings signs”   from the Universe to guide away from potential disaster.  Paying attention and being focused is an important factor during the transit.   Secret enemies will also be in abundance for this month long retrograde, urging a need to be aware of who is a friend or enemy.  

The danger of being abused or victimized in some way  will be very strong, especially for people who are extra sensitive and open up their emotion easily to others.   All the above are negative aspects of Jupiter being in Pisces retrograde.   As with any retrograde, the positive aspects of the planet/sign involved in the transit is weakened until going back into forward motion.   Not wanting to see the truth of a person/situation will most likely be the cause of any of the above negative aspects manifesting.     The “rose colored glasses” have to come off, in order to see reality. Jupiter begins a new cycle on December 2nd for one year, after being in Sagittarius for the same amount of time.  Jupiter cycles at any given time,  are considered benevolent, bringing opportunity, inspiration, counseling, good fortune, growth, learning, exploration into new horizons, optimism, enthusiasm, increase, abundance and justice, to name just a few of the attributes it can bestow.    It is also considered a “magnifying glass”, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, the good and not so good.    

Often when Jupiter returns to the place of a person’s birth (look in the Natal chart to see where Jupiter lies and the sign of the rising sign or Sun sign), in particular if it affects, the rising sign and/or Sun sign,  life may seem as if it’s  getting worse instead of better.  This is because Jupiter is placing focus on an area of karma that hasn’t been confronted and needs to be dealt with before “rewards” can be received.  One the situation/ issue has been dealt with everything will fall into place and move in a more positive direction.

Once again, Capricorn is the highlight of another major transit this month.    The New Moon Solar Eclipse is an indiction to get the job done, regardless of hindrances and obstacles that appear to be in the way.   Capricorn is the symbol  of the mountain goat climbing the mountain, a very slippery slope to the top, one foot in front of the other, often stumbling, but still persevering against perceivably insurmountable odds.    This Solar Eclipse gives a helping hand to make the impossible seem possible, as long as there is a desire to keep going and not give up.  

Any plans that have been in the making throughout the past few months, can now be put into action.  Not  a time to vacillate/procrastinate because in 2020 it will be harder, as a result of so many retrogrades, to find doors of lasting opportunity.

April begins the retrograde season begins with Jupiter retrograde for four months.  As with all retrograde planets, this transit is a time to stop, reflect and make changes where necessary before moving forward any further.  Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, therefore the affects of this cycle are even stronger.   Both planet and sign represent, exploration, expansion, optimism, foresight, travel to far-away places, other cultures, higher consciousness, studies. publishing, literary, the establishment, aspirations, freedom, exercise,  adventure and truth, to name just a few of their attributes.

Taking a course of study to enlarge the mind, talents and understanding of life in general is a good direction to follow.   Travel that involves going back to a place to learn and grow is also a wise move.  To begin writing a book and lecturing would also have positive results.   The most important thing to remember during this particular retrograde, is to focus within on things that are empowering and motivating enough to support growth as an individual.  Anything that focuses on outward expansion, travel to gain prosperity, success etc., won’t work out as panned or at least have a different outcome than planned.  This is a time to be honest with Self and others about intentions, otherwise later these untruths will block future progress.  Ask Self this question,  what will be the next chapter in my life?

AUGUST FORECAST

Planet:  Jupiter Sign:  Sagittarius Cycle:  Direct Motion Date:  August 11th

Jupiter moves forward finally, after being retrograde for four months.  The purpose of this retrograde was to evaluate expansion implemented up to April of this year, deciding whether or not changes and expansion were positive or a waste of valuable time.   Also looking at what has been achieved so far.    

Now that Jupiter in Sagittarius is shifting forward, decisions have to be made about which path to choose.   Gong backwards and repeating the same thing isn’t an option.  At least, an overhaul of the familiar would be a very good idea.   Hope, new knowledge/understanding and belief in personal ability to succeed is necessary for success to happen.  Raising one’s consciousness and perception  of life, understanding that the impossible can be made possible.  

Jupiter in its own sign is one of tremendous opportunity and good luck, you can’t get much better than this.  However, the caveat being, Jupiter is a magnifying glass that highlights not only the good but not so good too.   This is why for some it will seems as if everything is going wonderfully well, while for others it may seem to be a case of one step forward and three steps back, as weaknesses come to the forefront.   In this case it is wise to confront issues/weaknesses instead of ignoring them.

Ultimately, Jupiter moving forward is a good thing if the retrograde cycle has been used correctly.  Now that the planet is in direct motion, wasting time, vacillating or procrastinating is not an option.

Planet:  Sun Sign:  Virgo Date:  August 23rd - September 23rd

The Sun in the practical earth sign of Virgo, also ruled by Mercury,  highlights paying attention to detail, being practical, discriminating, analytical, orderly and modest.   Worrying may come to the forefront, whether warranted or unwarranted.  Virgos are good for assimilation of facts, but because of the Sun “heating up” the Virgo intellect, breadth of vision is unlikely during this time.

Virgo also rules the digestive system, diet, health, work (employees.employers) and service to Self and others.   Therefore, focusing on whether or not needs are being met in the current work environment will become an issue, which could lead to a change of employment later this year, or at least some type of alteration of work.  Paying attention to food that is ingested is a good idea, because allergies could be discovered. Health overall will be closer to the top of the list of things to be aware of.  The question, “are the needs of the body being served in the right way?”

JUPITER IN SAGITTARIUS: THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER
