for @junseofmd.
minhee would be the first to admit that she can be a bit of a hassle. she’s the type of person that’s social to a fault. she can barely stand to spend a single night by herself, whether that be with a friend or something more.
sometimes, that line isn’t so easily drawn.
minhee’s no stranger to shifting dynamics in relationships. she’s gone from friends, to lovers, to strangers with men more times than she can count. maybe it’s her fault -- because she always goes after the same type of guys, both those outside of and within the entertainment industry. it’s rebellion, in a sense, against the way she was raised, against the proper type of man her mother wants her to date. she’s always toeing the line of rebellion, always has been, ever since the day she signed up for bc entertainment’s open auditions.
now, minhee doesn’t really know why junseo broke up with sia, but he doesn’t seem like that kind of guy. she’s not close with her, as much as she’s tried to change that over the years, never really doing so successfully. but, still, she’s defended her against antis, and considers her an important player in her life, even if that feeling isn’t necessarily reciprocated.
still, she feels that maybe she should’ve kept going through her contacts, hassling other people to come over for movie night other than jo junseo.
across from him on the sofa, she has her legs tucked underneath her legs, glass of wine in hand, and mouse, her cat, resting asleep in her lap. she spends too much time jumping between the film and his face, never focusing on one for long, before she downs the last of her glass. she’s pleased to have mouse snuggled up between them, creating a furry barrier that minhee would never dare to disturb.
“this is kinda bad, isn’t it?” she says, gesturing to the television with her empty cup. “i have some dramas recorded, or some ... games, maybe, if you’d prefer.”
