No thoughts just archer George correcting Dream's stance in archery practice, except the coaxing touches (i.e. a poke to his bicep/ George's hands on his waist) also tickle like hell, and Dream has to focus so hard not tense up, not to twitch or jump or pull his arms down from where they're up with the bow string drawn back. He should really push through it, hit the target without messing up his shot by wobbling or flinching, and keep the corrected stance for all of it (or George will have to adjust it again..)

ok but the other cute thing about this clip is the fact that it occurred only seconds after dreams fake moan. lmao. and so the only reason that dream was so willing for sapnap to play the ‘you’re my kitten soundboard’ is because he was trying to distract from his own dilemma
which brings me to a point that i have pointed out before, but feel is relevant to bring up again. but the way that the dream team members deal with having embarrassing facts shared about themselves (or just having something embarrassing happen to them in general) is to throw each other under the bus
for example in the you’re my kitten clip, it was actually dream that had originally embarrassed himself, but somehow dream had managed to flip it onto george by advocating for sapnap to share the clip (something that he wouldn’t have usually pushed for, it’s just that he was looking for an out. and sapnap probably knows this)
so if you add this to the potential lee/informative ler trope. you get sapnap starting to reveal a good tickle spot on george, george screaming and clawing at sapnap to get him to stop. dream watching on with a smirk and shaking his head when george starts trying to make him stop sapnap from leaking the information from himself ? but then having to quickly interject the squabble when george starts threatening to reveal a tickle spot of dream’s own (if dream doesn’t stop sapnap from revealing gogy’s secrets to dream that is). so basically, sapnap is spilling george’s beans, and george is trying to win dream on his side by blackmailing him with the threat of spilling dreams beans, and dream is desperately trying to shut george up while also trying to calm the squabble down to protect his own arse
You are so big brain for this I can'tttt,,,
Dream Team throwing each other under the bus is so real. I feel like generally in situations like this they just resort to "offense is the best defense" because anything other than dragging each other even further wouldn't be enough to distract from their initial embarrassment lmao
The mirror to the snitch/information concept works so well, I can see Dream scrambling to shut both of them up when he was just laughing at George two seconds ealier so well lmao
Now, to make it even more convoluted, take the situation you explained and add Dream trying to blackmail Sapnap into not leaking George's spot (cause then George would leak one of Dream's own) by threatening to leak one of Sapnap's if he doesn't drop it. And now they're just at a three way impasse, so either one of them decides to just go for it, leading to all of them snitching to each other about each other, and thus to total chaos, Or they just all awkwardly and cautiously draw back, just waiting for one of them to mess up their fragile truce and storing their information for another day
Ok so I was thinking about an old concept (from @fluffallamaful I think) where George would scream over somebody revealing stuff about him, so other's wouldn't be able to hear it,,
Leading to him being pinned down/shut up by tickles so that the information can be shared without interruption from George
(I can't find Llamas og post though so I'm not 100% sure this is how it went..)
Anyway I propose an alternative ending. What if George notices the screaming isn't doing anything to deter his friend (either Dream or Sapnap) from leaking embarrassing things about George, so instead he rethinks his strategy and just launches himself at them to dig into their sides until they're laughing too hard to get the words out
And while they're laughing, trying their hardest to form the right words George is just holding onto them, keeping them restrained and hissing "Shut up shut up shut up" into their ear, over and over and over again.
ok good so we’re both still thinking about differences between vs and in person interactions fxgysgs
consider that usually over vc, without his face showing, the only way that people would be able to tell how much he’s blushing or smiling would be by hearing it in his voice. and so, whenever he gets flustered or teased irl, his instant reaction is to clamp his mouth shut and stop talking, just as a habit of not letting them see how much they’re getting to him.
except that they can literally see him now? they’re watching the colour drain to his cheeks, watching his smile grow by the second, wobbly on the corners, and his eyes twist into crescents. there’s not hiding in the silence now, they’re spotting every exact reaction to a tee. and somehow, despite them staring directly at him, dream still gets surprised every time they manage to call him out on it, forgetting that his emotions are now fully on display
AAAAAAAHHH LLAMA This Is So Cutee!! Absolutely yes to all of thiss!!
Dream just clamping up and staying completely silent bc he knows his voice would give him away? While his friends are in the same room, just a few feet away, and can literally watch him squeeze his eyes shut and bite his lip and fidget and try and take a few deep breaths to calm himself down enough to reinsert himself into the conversation??
He would get teased sooo much for how obvious he's being :( and for how not answering doesn't help his case At All since they can see how much he's blushing:(((
And he'd always get such an adorably confused expression for a few seconds before the realisation washes over him and he has to choose between powering through the embarrassment or just curling up and doing his best to hide his face and how flustered he's being :(((((
Also:
Dream being used to schooling his voice (but not his face and body), so he can continue talking normally when he's not yet flustered enough to 'shut down'...
Sometimes George or Sapnap will leave vc after some good natured teasing, then remember they need to ask Dream something/need to get something from him and decide to just go to his room instead of calling him again.
And they expect him to just be chilling in his chair, or maybe on his bed or something because he sounded completely normal in vc.
But then they open his door and Dream just jumps and spins around to stare at them in shock before curling in on himself, or tugging the collar of his shirt up in hopes of hiding his helpless smile or his red cheeks, but it's too late, they already saw... just when Dream thought he'd gotten out of more teasing because he'd sounded normal! They hadn't noticed, they never would have known! But now they're standing in his room with the biggest shit-eating grin... and Dream knows he won't get out of this as easily as he had hoped...
Oh, and something something parallels between Dream 'schooling his voice to appear unaffected over vc, but being very clearly affected in rl, and all it takes to find out is George showing up in his room' and George 'leaving vc to cool down, except now he lives in the same house and if Dream decides to show up in his room he won't be able to hide anymore'....
Ok this is not a new concept in any way, but still,,, just,,,
Dream hiding his face because he's flustered, and because he's unused to people, like George or Karl for example, being able to just see him, and point out his expressions, and his blush, and the way he's reacting to their teasing....
And then what if his ler has him pinned, and he's covering his face, and he knows, knows, knows what's going to happen, but then... it never does. And he keeps waiting, completely tense in anticipation, trying to hold back the urge to start giggling that grows and grows the longer he has to just lay there while the anticipation makes his mind run wild...
And he can feel his lers hands just resting on his tummy, or his waist, or his hips... and then he feels them flex their fingers for a second before they stop and he can't keep a flustered, wobbly, disappointed whine from escaping him because the anticipation is just so m u c h...
And then he feels them leaning down to his ear. And he freezes when they tell him all he has to do is let his hands drop and look at them. That as long as he's not covering his face, they'll tickle him. So if he wants it he better drop his hands and keep them down. They’ll stop if he covers his face again. All he has to do is stop hiding~
Bonus:
If it's George teasing him, it's all centered around the fact that he wants to see Dream, and that he wants Dream to look at him, and that Dream should stop hiding his face bc George doesn't like it
"Dream. Dream look at me! Ugh, stop hiding already idiot, I want to see your face. Come ooon Dream, why won't you show mee?!"
(and on Dream, sim- i mean good friend that he is, it's embarrassingly effective)
If its Karl teasing him, its mostly compliments and the fact that he shouldn't be hiding, its adorable. And why is he being shy anyway, Karl wants to see his handsome smile, he should show him, Karl would love to see how he's beaming and blushing, and he can see how red his ears are anyway, there's no reason to hide it's so incredibly obvious how hard he's smiling and blushing so Dream should just drop his hands and show him....

You know how when birthday tickles are brought up its always either age = amount of minutes or age = amount of raspberries. I thought it would be more interesting (mean in lee language) to make the birthday boy (or however they identify) pick. If they choose raspberries they have to pick where they want them (tummy, sides, ribs, neck, ext.) And if they choose the minutes they have to either continuesly pick the spots or control the speed
Yes to everything you've said and also to everything llama and mushie already came up with!!!
I feel like, if the dt were asked that, Dream would be shocked into silence for a minute before shyly picking whatever he feels like (while giggling up a storm ofc)
George would probably try his best to Not choose, but instead evade and deflect the question like his life is on the line. Also i feel like he'd complain how its unfair that he always gets more than the other two, its not his fault hes olded than them!
Sapnap would probably try to fight and protest his way out of it in his high energy way. I doesnt work and now hes made himself too weak to struggle and s t ill has to answer the question. (He's wayy to flustered to do that, at that point)
Now, a thought for either scenario:
The lers give a raspberry and ask the next spot immediately after. If the birthday boy doesn't give them an answer within 5-10 seconds, they get raspberries on the same spot as before until they pick a new one. Only, these raspberries don't count towards the birthday ones... better answer quick!
For the minutes one, i feel like itd be pretty easy for the lee to forget that theyre 'in charge' of spots and speed. It becomes tradition to mercilessly tease them if they beg with anything along the lines of "Nohohot thehehere!" or "Chahange spohohots alreheheady!"
Oh, and an additional mean thought:
Why either raspberries or minutes? Why not combine both together to create the ultimate anticipation monstrosity?
One raspberry per minute.
There's no real telling when it will come, the lers might do it on the first second of the minute, they might wait 20 seconds, or the might wait until 59 seconds, and then place the next directly after, its a new minute after all.
Spots could be a surprise: if yes, the lee has to keep their eyes closed, if no they can keep their eyes open, but now they have to watch as the lers take their sweet time to decide where the next raspberry should go
The worst part is the anticipation, and of course the teasing. It will take a set amount of minutes, theres no getting out of that, and they will only get a set amount of raspberries, theres no getting out of that either. So most of the time, the lee simply has to wait while the lers are free to tease. Theres no getting more, and theres no getting less, its their birthday after all, every minute should be cherished :)
Happy pride month to all my fellow lgbtqia+ people!!
And also Happy beginning of lee dream month to all my fellow lee dream enthusiasts (espc @fluffallamaful congrats on 300 again)!
Have these bullet point hcs I whipped up!
Day 1: tummy tickles
First, let's establish Dream is very ticklish on his tummy
Like very ticklish
But! only under the right circumstances
I feel like, bc Dream can be very strategic and calculating, he would be able to kind of mentally dampen the intensity of the situation and make it less bad for him if the ler doesn't employ the right strategies
But if the ler knows what they're doing.... he's gone, straight up ascended to another plane of existence bc he's giggling so much
There's three possible strategies that get him everytime:
Surprise
Anticipation
and Distraction
Surprise is pretty straight forward: If he doesn't see the tickles coming he can't prepare for them
So arguably the easiest (and most time efficient) way for his friends to get him laughing is to sneak up behind him and wrap him into a behind tickle hug
Though they have to be careful of his reactions bc they range from 'helplessly giggling his head of going completely limp in their arms' to 'protesting like crazy squirming around like his life depends on it' and there's no way to predict what reaction they're gonna get
The sneaking up part is also not without it's hazards
If he notices somebody sneaking up behind him that person is done bc there's no doubt Dream would take preemptive revenge, like straight up chasing them down teasing about how they brought this on themselves
But if the ler manages to wrap him in the tickle hug then it's over for him. Even at his squirmiest he won't be able to break out of their arms bc tummy tickling just makes him so weak. He's just uselessly pushing at their arms hoping they won't go after that one specific spot below his ribs but above his bellybutton, slightly to the side, that always makes his legs give out and him crumble.
Anticipation is another tactic that works really well
It's basically the polar opposite of surprise bc he can see the tickles coming from a mile away
But thats the thing: if the ler plays their cards right Dream is soo wound up by the time they even touch his belly that there's no way for him to block out the sensation
Getting him that wound up is a little more time intensive but it's absolutely worth it to see him go from cocky and rolling his eyes to a curled up, blushy mess. And the tickling hasn't even started yet!
Tactics to get him that flustered include, but are not limited too:
teasing him about how he's going to end up a giggling mess and how he's gonna be unable to protect his ticklish tummy in just a little while,
drawing it out,
air tickling, especially if combined with fake outs,
and, Dream's personal least favorite:
Holding his arms above his head! There's just something so flusteringly vulnerable about being unable to try and protect his tummy or at least cover his face with his hands so he doesn't have to face the teasing head on anymore
This is also why the arms up game works so well. It's the same concept of vulnerability except this time it's all self imposed and his pride is on the line (so if he gives in he's lost on two fronts: not managing to keep his arms up despite his insistences that: "It's easy, of course I can do it, just watch me!", and getting tummy tickles bc he couldn't hold back his sensitivity any longer)
The last tactic is distraction
Basically, if he's already laughing his little heart out he does not have the presence of mind to keep his tummy sensitivity in check
The best thing about this is always how surprised he reacts, like he forgot that the ler could even go for his tummy
If the ler teases him about how they're going to go for his tummy while tickling him somewhere else to get around his mental defenses Dream will simply cease to exist
And, last one:
George likes to lull Dream into a false sense of security by pulling him in to gently tickle his back, wait until he has melted completely and then flip him around suddenly to go for his tummy (combining distraction and surprise for extra efficiency)
Dream has started to get suspicious and now he get's super whiny and squirmy everytime George gives him back tickles bc he can't choose between relaxing into it and keeping his guard up in case George decides to go for his tummy again (he's bringing the anticipation into the mix himself basically. George, ofc, is delighted by this. Now he doesn't even have to do anything and Dream will already be a blushy mess twitching at every unforeseen touch)
Sometimes George doesn't even end up going for Dream's tummy and Dream has to work really hard to hold back his half relived, half disappointed whine (It's a lot more disappointed than relived but shhh) bc now he's wound up so much that he kinda wants it
Sometimes the whine slips out and George takes great joy in making Dream ask for it before giving him what he wants. (This had been George's plan all along. Don't tell Dream though, he's already flustered enough as is!)
Context: So I found this while innocently looking around a store today...
Which first off all: What the fuck kind of personal attack?? Is this??? I don't even live in an English speaking country why is this even sold here???? And why is it called that??
-----
Second of all - HC time:
A while back I talked abt my hc for the use of head scratchers in the dt house
Now, one of them (Dream) finds and immediately buys this back scratcher on one of his rare trips outside. He thinks it's hilarious since he himself doesn't really mind "the word" so he's fine... but George and Sapnap are not.
They're not the biggest fans of "the word" to say the least.
George can handle it a little better than Sapnap, it's more of an issue for him when it's combined with teasingly pointing out his reaction to the tickles ("What's going on George, what's got you giggling so hard? It's not 'cause I'm tickling you, is it?"). He's still not overly fond of the word though, especially if he's already feeling a bit... sensitive
Sapnap just cannot deal with it at all. He can't even really explain it to himself, but everytime the others use it to tease or even in casual conversation he can't help but be hyperaware of it. He doesn't use it himself very often, not even when he's teasing the others, he just feels awkward saying it. He once lost a tickle fight because he was thinking about using it but flustered himself and lost resolve. (Though when George is really getting on his nerves he will push through it to knock him down a peg or a few.)
Sooo when Dream brings home this back scratcher and refuses to call it anything other than it's "name" (it's Mr. Tickles. The back scratcher is called Mr. Tickles) it's safe to say that George and Sapnap are not having the greatest of times.
They're not even that ticklish on their back, but the way Dream uses it to tease get's them everytime, i.e.
"Dont make me get Mr. Tickles" whenever one of them is getting on his nerves
Calling it's name like it's a person whenever he's looking for it
"Oh I'm sure Mr. Tickles can help with that" whenever one of them actually has an itch
(Eventually George and Sapnap conspire to get that dumb thing out of the house. It results in them having to tackle Dream to get a hold of it. Just as George gets up to throw it away Sapnap snatches it out of his hands, growling at Dream how he's about to get a taste of his own medicine.
Now George and Sapnap might not be that sensitive on their backs but Dream certainly is. He's never used the back scratcher on himself for this exact reason. Now he get's half a second to regret all the times he used it to tease them before he ends up flipped to his stomach, pinned by both George and Sapnap and laughing his little heart out as it rakes up and down his back. (And while he might not mind the word that much, the way George smugly leans down to his ear to whisper about how well of a job Mr. Tickles was doing still manages to make him squirm and whine. George and Sapnap just laugh at him. This is revenge after all.)
