          like  any  normal  human  being  ,  jamie  brought  everything  to  work  with  him.  for  the  last  week  or  so  ,  he’s  been  of  his  game  so  to  speak.  dropping  plates  ,  silverware  ,  spilling  dirty  dishwater  down  the  front  of  his  shirt.  what  was  he  so  worried  for  ?  it’s  not  like  anything  would  come  of  this  act.

          he’s  in  the  process  of  clearing  one  of  the  last  tables  ,  messy  hair  falling  down  in  front  of  chocolate  brown  eyes.  there’s  only  a  half  hour  before  the  diner  closes  ,  though  he’d  be  there  until  two  a.m.  cleaning  up  after  everyone.  like  usual.  like  every  single  night.

          the  bell  above  the  door  makes  him  jump  ,  the  clank  of  dishes  crashing  together  sounding  throughout  the  building.  it’d  been  so  quiet.  those  eyes  cast  a  glance  towards  the  door  ,  where  they  catch  sight  of  ...  someone  who  clearly  doesn’t  belong  here.  someone  who  probably  doesn’t  come  ‘round  these  parts  of  town  often.

          ❝  ---  ---  uh  ,  we  close  in  ‘bout  half  an  hour  ,  so  ...  i  don’t  think  you’re  gonna  get  much  service  right  now.  ❞

“Ever been possessed? Such nasty business having something else other than you inside you.” Jane makes a face like she’s smelled something particularly foul.

“You’re still there, just not at the controls.”

Hellmare is escorting a young woman to the fraction’s headquarters or hideout. After the revolution of the freed androids, she found this one who is lost as if she lost her sense of purpose. Hellmare told this lost soul that she can find her purpose to do. And so, Hellmare is in the living room with the woman to show her.

Her friends, few of her teammates look to her direction wondering whose the person she brought. Before they ask, Hellmare calls someone over.

“Fosh! Are you here?” Hellmare calls out a name. 

A door is opened as a young boy with chestnut complexion, his hair is braided with locks and ties into a ponytail. He wears rectangular glasses as his dark blue eyes look at Hellmare and over to the woman. He came over to the living room.

“Y-yes? Wh-whose this?” The boy called Fosh came over as he asked her.

“This is your helper. An android.” Hellmare tells him.  Fosh blinks if not twice but three times!

“W-WHAT?!”

The bike felt like heaven between his thighs, raw power and heat, and all of it was under his control. As Steve Rogers sped down the road, heading who-knows-where—away from the downtown, where devastation was still the main event—he felt more relief than he’d experienced since awakening from the ice. Part of the pressure, I guess, he thought absently, when it lets up, I forget how bad things used to be. Steve recognized the pattern, but this had to be easily the heaviest burden that had been lifted from him in a long time.
